36 of 38 people found the following review helpful.I was t-boned at 35mph by some woman driving her minivan while texting. Our mazda is totaled, my wife and I are bruised up, but my son is safe and sound. He actually laughed after the crash and I promptly ordered the same seat to replace the old one.it's BIG, but it does its job. Very easy to install and adjust, I love how you don't have to re-rout the straps to grow with your little one.

18 of 19 people found the following review helpful.I got this car seat 3 weeks ago for my 8 month old daughter. She is 25 lbs and 31 inches tall, and had outgrown her Graco Snugride 35. It was time to upgrade to a convertible seat. I originally bought a Graco My ride 65, and I really liked that it had built in cupholders, but after getting it I didn't like how it fit her. As big as it was, it didn't seem that she had a lot of room to grow in it. So I ordered my second choice, the Evenflo Triumph 65. The cupholder is a joke on this, but really, thats not the most important part of a car seat. My husband said it was easy enough to install it. We have a prius and needed to put a folded towel under the front of it (we installed it rear facing) to get it even according to the arrows on the side. We also placed a cut up old yoga mat under it to keep it from marking the seat since it really digs in (but I do like how it feels really secure on the seat).Im just going to make this into a quick list and save you time.Pros:- looks great. I love this pattern. It looks really nice and I like how it feels too.- tall seat, which is good for tall babies like mine (she is above the chart for height)- feels really secure on the seat- super easy to adjust the shoulder strap height- my daughter seems really comfortable in it- she loves that she has lots of room to move her legs around ( a problem in her infant car seat that she always seemed to be upset about)- we are only using it rear facing for now, but it does seem very easy to recline when you face it forward- head rest is good for smaller babies- compared to other convertible seats it doesn't seem to heavyCons:- It takes up a of room in the car we have a prius and you can't really fit 2 people in the back seat when this seat is in (maybe two little kids, but two adults is impossible)- the seat is really long when rear facing, so you can't push the passenger seat back very far with this seat behind it if you have a smaller car. In an SUV its probably not an issue.- the straps are really hard to tighten or release when its rear facing. I had read that in a lot of reviews, and its true. Its nearly impossible and its a big bummer. I almost returned the seat because of this, but in the end I kept it because the other features of the seat won me over. In the end, I just usually can get her in without loosening them too much so its easier.- the cupholder is super flimsyOverall, I think this is a great seat for the money. In my opinion it looks and seems to be really similar to the Britax Marathon just a much more affordable price since not everyone can buy a $300 car seat!

8 of 10 people found the following review helpful. This car seat is great!! We bought one in 2009 for my other daughter and she just moved into her booster seat in 2012. We have never had any problems with this seat that is why we bought a new one for my youngest dauther and now the old Envenflow triumph is being used in our second car... This is a great seat and has lasted us a LONG time.. I would recommend this to anyone!! Oh and my daughter who was in it for three years has always been in the 75-100% for hight so she is a tall girl and still fits in the seat just fine..
