I have practiced ten times or so and now I can do it much faster and much easier. DH did fine from the beginning. The frame is only 15lb and folds very small. Maxi cosi mico car seat goes and comes off very easily. The seat that later will be used, when baby outgrows car seat seems very comfy and sturdy. It is very nice that it has three very different recline levels on both directions. The strolling is the best part of it. It is even better than our McLaren, which I paid $250 for. My son had a Graco Snugride travel system and this is not comparable. It is much better. Basically the reason I am getting this stroller is because we have settled on maxi cosi mico. My daughter is an August baby and this is the only car seat I found that has a cotton feel, not plastici like all those Graco or Chicco car seats. All in all, we really liked it. I would say, you have to practice folding many times so that it becomes second nature and fast. Otherwise, you will not like this stroller. It does not have a tray but that is not a big deal. There are a lot of trays and cup holders that you can easily use when the child is older (the tray rests on kid's lap and is attached to the back of seat with a latch.) My son almost never used his tray, so at this point, I will not make that a decision point. If my daughter is a big eater, even while walking (which kids tend to watch outside carefully, at least that's how my son was) , I will come up with an idea. So, we are going to keep this. We got the intense red. It is bright and vibrant. I love it. The total cost of car seat and stroller is $550 (I bought them from different places and car seat was on sale). The last year's model can be bought at $280 total (it is chocolate mint color). So, somehow I feel I am paying too much to get the latest. The most important advantage is color (for me) and two changes in the design: car seat has a much better canopy and different padding inside compared to last year's. The stroller now can be folded with the seat (not car seat but the regular seat) attached to it. Apparently, this is by itself a big deal because most of the negative reviews for older version, mention this. However, if the cost is an issue and you are deciding between an under-$300 travel system and an old model of this, I would definitely choose the old model over cheaper, more basic travel systems.

We definitely got great use out of it. As an infant we used the base which is compatible with the maxi cosi mico carseat. As our daughter got older we used the seat it came with. Easy to collapse. One thing we loved is that the shade extends and has GREAT sun coverage and protection. It's a nice comfortable seat and adjusts to decline. Seat can be faced forward or backwards.

Initially my wife and I purchased this stroller b/c of it's minimalist and lightweight design. It has a telescoping handle to accomodate me (I'm 6'3"). Also it was compatible with the M-C Mico car seat that we liked for the same reasons. The current edition of Baby Bargains didn't offer much insight on the 2011 model but seemed positive on the 2010 model. The Good: Lightweight design. Folds compactly, and with the included seat attached. Soft ride, sturdy castors on the front wheels. Rear wheels can be inflated to desired PSI. Very safe design when using the car seat attachment converters. The Bad: The main complaint I have is that the telescoping handle stopped locking at the highest position. It seems that there is a grinding sound from sand or dirt that got into the handle mechanism during the folding process which prevents the locking mechanism from working at the most extended position. The frame is overall kind of flimsy feeling for something this expensive. I would have compromised a little more weight for a sturdier feel in the handles. Putting the car seat on and off is a three-handed job. It's a little tricky at first. Also needlessly tricky is folding the stroller down (up is easier). The handle folds down first via a cable release. A cable release is just asking for trouble, I think. Also when folding, the handles hit the ground, allowing dirt into the mechanism. Not a ton of accessories for this model, but hopefully that will change as time goes by. It just seems lazy to sell a product that is not fully supported at the time of release. It's also lazy to neglect research before buying a stroller, my bad, this is my penance)Also the Maxi-cosi website is pretty scant of useful information, as is getting information on getting a repair. The Unknown: We have yet to use the included seat, so no report on how it performs. Hopefully the canopy on the included seat is better than the one on the Mico seat. We bought a Sasha cover for the seat as a sunblock/bug screen addition.TL/DR: Overall I would not buy this stroller again, but it's not so bad that I would replace it. It functions as it should. Don't pay full price!!Good Luck!
