4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. We have only used this once, and our 5-month old loves it. It was not difficult to assemble, but we also bought an infant insert and tray, and the whole assembly took 1 hour. In my opinion, the infant insert is definitely required. I don't see how a baby less than 9 or 10 months could sit without it. This was her first time in a high chair and she seemed comfortable and happy. We also felt she was nice and secure in it. The chair seems sturdy and blends well with other furniture. The chair seems well made, it's heavy when all put together, but I think worth the money and weight since the plastic high chairs we've seen feel cheap, light-weight and can get stained and dirty easily. I think it's worth the $ with all the accessories because it's definitely a chair that your child will grow with. This was a great purchase.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.I bought one of these for my son over a year ago - it's just as solid and beautiful as the day I built it. It's got a lovely finish so it blends in well with our "nice" furniture. I am so very happy with this that I've bought another one for my daughter who is just outgrowing her high chair. Some reviews said the seat cushion kept slipping off. I've got no help for the youngest sitters who still need the seatbelt (like my daughter) - however, if your sitter is a little older, here is your fix:Withe the cushion in place, allow the center piece of the seatbelt to fall forward over the cushion and let it come down over the seat cushion. Tighten the side straps underneath the wood seat so they are short, and latch the three pieces together (under the whole seat). This will hold the cushion securely in place.I've never had a problem with the back piece coming off.Hope this helps!
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.Love the chair...it's very well made and sturdy. Easy to put together. The cushions are useless as they do not stay on. Both the back and the bottom slide constantly and the back falls off every time we use it. Very disappointed in the cushions but happy with the chair.
