4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.Sturdy and well-padded stroller bag for the Orbit Baby stroller. The one problem is that it does not hold both the stroller base and the infant carrier, so I ended up having to use the airline-issued plastic cover for the infant carrier and gate-checked that separately. This defeated the whole purpose of buying this bag in the first place; I was hoping for an all-in-one bag that would fit the stroller and either the infant carrier or the stroller seat combo so that I only had to haul one bag for all my Orbit equipment. It was a bit pricey, but since it will hold the stroller seat, we will be able to use it for a few more years.
2 of 3 people found the following review helpful.I am a huge Orbit Baby fan, they have some of the best products available when it comes to car seats and strollers. I recently purchased this stroller travel bag, as we were taking an international flight to Paris and knew we were going to need our stroller. I had been reluctant the past 2 years to purchase it because of the price. Nearly $200 for a stroller bag is steep, but there's nothing else I could safely put my Orbit stroller in for travel by flight. I wanted to be able to gate check my Orbit safely in the bag and not risk getting my stroller damaged or broken. The bag itself is fabulous, extremely well made, sturdy, but I don't feel it's worth the nearly $200 price tag. My generation 1 Orbit stroller and the gen 2 stroller seat fit perfectly inside, as did our extra rain cover and a couple other extras which was great. However, here's the kicker. We couldn't gate check it which was our sole purpose for purchasing this bag. I'm currently in a walking boot for a previous injury, which sometimes makes carrying my nearly 30 pound toddler difficult, especially when he gets tired easily from walking, and walking long distances in the airport isn't easy with the boot on. Hence purchasing the stroller bag, so that we could use our stroller in the airport and then check it at the gate. We flew American Airlines, and neither on our flight over nor our return trip were we allowed to gate check our stroller, we had to check it at the check in counter with our luggage, which meant going through the airport without our stroller and having to carry my 2 year old long distances while wearing my walking boot. According to the airline, the stroller bag's dimensions are too large for gate checking. If American Airlines won't allow it to be gate checked which is the whole reason for the bag, it makes me wonder if other airlines have the same rules and if I can use it to gate check my stroller on future flights or not. I now basically feel like I've just wasted all this money on a useless product and I feel burned unfortunately.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.This is a MUST if you are flying and have the orbit stroller!! I don't know how we would have checked and brought everything without it. We were able to fit the stroller frame, the stroller seat and the base! It was a tight fit with all three but it Ziped and did great! I absolutely recommend the bag.... The quality is great (sturdy and strong) it is compatible and easily stored and you can get creative with what orbit pieces you decide to bring on your trip!
